Redbourn Village Museum

150px Disabled Go logoThe Silk Mill House contains this Village Museum with a gallery for photographic and art exhibitions as well as displays of the early and later history of the village in other exhibition rooms.

Redbourn Village Museum launched an exciting project in 2011, with the aim of spending the next nine years exploring and celebrating in turn each of the nine centuries since the foundation of St Mary’s Church. Every year they intend to mount a display about the century in question, invite an expert to deliver a lecture, and organise an outing to a relevant place of interest. The museum will invite the younger members of Redbourn’s community to get involved in various ways, and there will be a themed event in the village where everyone can join in the fun. This project is called "Redbourn through the Centuries".
