St Albans embraces good food and drink, with a host of eateries offering food from every corner of the globe. St Albans is also the home of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale and has many "real ale" pubs, including ancient hostelries, and holds a major a beer festival each year. As well as the bi-weekly St Albans Market, there are monthly farmers markets around the district which showcase the excellent local produce available. The annual St Albans Food and Drink Festival also celebrates the vibrant local food scene with a range of events and an outdoor finale.

Food Events and Farmers Markets

Farmers Markets take place around the district each month, in St Albans and Harpenden, where you can buy delicious local produce. To celebrate the fantastic range of food and drink that the district has to offer, every autumn you can enjoy the St Albans CAMRA Beer Festival, and the St Albans Food and Drink Festival.
