Get ready for winter!

At this free St Albans Cycle Campaign meeting, you will: • Learn how to maintain a bike and get it ready for winter • Discover road skills to keep safe in all weathers • Find out how others keep warm and dry • Get an update on STACC activities.

St Albans Christmas Market

Saturday 25th November to Saturday 23rd December 2017
German-style Christmas Market in St Albans selling high quality gifts and products. Browse beautiful handmade gifts while enjoying a mug of mulled wine in the Christmas atmosphere. The event will take place in and around the beautiful Vintry Garden adjacent to the magnificent 11th-century St Albans Cathedral.

Childwickbury Christmas Market

If you love the summer Childwickbury Arts Fair, or you're simply looking for a unique Christmas shopping experience, come along to the Childwickbury Christmas Market. Like the arts fair, the Christmas Market takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the Childwickbury Estate stables.

Harpenden Christmas Carnival

A spectacular event in Harpenden High Street, encompassing a carnival procession, charity stalls, a Farmers Market, turning on of the Town's Christmas lights, fairground rides and festive shopping.

St Albans Christmas Lights Switch On and Christmas Market Launch

Sunday 26th November 2017
Entertainment throughout the city centre to mark the official start of the Christmas shopping season. There will be three switch-on events at 5pm: at the Taxi Rank Stage, by the Clock Tower, and at the Christmas Market in Vintry Garden.

Redbourn Christmas Market

St Saviour’s Church Christmas Tree Festival

A beautiful Christmas event! Come and see the church transformed into a winter wonderland by 90 sparkling Christmas trees. The trees are all decorated on the theme of “Community at Christmas” by local individuals and groups.

St Albans Mummers

Tuesday 26th December 2017 (Boxing Day)

For over 40 years the St Albans Mummers have performed their unique adaptation of George & The Dragon on Boxing Day in various locations in the City Centre.
