Welcome to the 2020 Alban Street Festival

Didn’t we have a great weekend? Did you rock out with Grace George and Paul from the Maida Vales? Did you let the fantastic string quartet Oxus transport you to another country? You can listen to these and other performers here at the Enjoy St Albans Facebook page . There are also still lots of craft activities available and you can get out and about with a trail created especially for us by the St Albans Tour Guides, it’s also not too late to raise some money for a local charity by participating in the 13.1 challenge!

The 24 in 24 Lockdown Special with St Albans Film Festival received a huge number of entries, which will be uploaded to the Film Festival website shortly. Click here to see the judges’ favourite lockdown image.

Kathryn Holt from Trestle Arts Base told us the story of ‘The bear and the bee’… to hear it again and enjoy a fun craft activity visit The Story Tent’s Facebook page.

The Alban Weekend Art Challenge with St Albans Museum + Gallery is based on an exhibit in the Museum’s collection… find out which one and enjoy a weaving challenge here.

On Sunday 21st June, the Alban Pilgrimage Eucharist was delivered by Parish Priest, Broadcaster and former Communard, The Rev’d Richard Cole. Hear the whole of the service here.

We learned how to get ‘The Ibiza Look’ with a face painting tutorial with The Glitterbox Academy and then we had a special guest appearance from Willow Farm’s new arrival… baby donkey, Violet!
