Festival Procession

The Alban Pilgrimage will be celebrated on Sunday 27 June with services inside St Albans Cathedral and the traditional procession featuring larger-than-life puppets, Roman soldiers and eyeballs. This year the route will take you through Verulamium Park from St Michael's Church to the Cathedral, where activities and a hog roast will be available. We're looking forward to seeing you at a street festival soon...

The Community Engagement team at St Albans City and District Council are currently working on a spectacular return to live street festivals with the 'Feastival' event, part of the 2021 Food and Drink Festival. This will take place on Sunday 26 September. Harpenden Town Council also have a fabulous Food Festival event planned for the town on Saturday 18 September.

The 24 in 24 Lockdown Special with St Albans Film Festival received a huge number of entries, which you can see on the Film Festival website . This popular event will be back on Saturday 11 September as part of the Food Festival! Click here to see the judges’ favourite lockdown image.

On Sunday 21st June, the Alban Pilgrimage Eucharist was delivered by Parish Priest, Broadcaster and former Communard, The Rev’d Richard Cole. Hear the whole of the service here.

We learned how to get ‘The Ibiza Look’ with a face painting tutorial with The Glitterbox Academy and then we had a special guest appearance from Willow Farm’s new arrival… baby donkey, Violet!
