We have collated a list of attractions and event cancellations across the district due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Event cancellations

The following events have been cancelled unless marked as postponed or rescheduled.

  • Harpenden Carnival – Saturday 13th June 2020
  • Art on the Common – Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2020 has been POSTPONED
  • St Albans Half Marathon – Sunday 14th  June 2020
  • The Alban Pilgrimage – Saturday 20th June: the annual procession will not take place but the Cathedral will still celebrate. Details to follow.
  • Alban Street Festival – Sunday 21st  June 2020 will be reimagined as a virtual event. Details to follow.
  • St Albans Folk Festival – Friday 26th to Sunday 28th June 2020 now RESCHEDULED for Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September
  • Harpenden Talent Stage – Sunday 28th June 2020
  • St Michael’s Village Folk Evening – Wednesday 1st July has been POSTPONED
  • Childwickbury Arts Festival – Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th July 2020 has been POSTPONED to 2-4 July 2021
  • M Festival – Saturday 4th July 2020
  • Harpenden Highland Gathering – Sunday 12th July 2020
  • Wheathampstead Village Day – Sunday 12th July
  • Classics on the Common – Wednesday 22nd July 2020
  • Storytime with Outdoor Games – Sunday 26th July 2020
  • Harpenden Teddy Bears Picnic – Wednesday 5th August 2020
  • Art in the Town – Sunday  23rd August 2020
  • UL International Crown – Thursday 27th August to Sunday 30th August 2020
  • Meraki Festival – Friday 28th to Sunday 30th August 2020
  • Harpenden Food and Drink Festival – Sunday 20th September 2020
  • St Albans Beer and Cider Festival – Wednesday 23rd September to Saturday 30th September 2020

All the theatres in the district are currently closed, and shows are being rescheduled where possible.
