DAYCATION IN ST ALBANS – FASHION 14 Jul 2021
Daycation in St Albans
Enjoy a holiday in St Albans this summer with a daycation to beat all others. Whether you live here, or are visiting for the day, there’s lots to do whether you are a foodie or a film fan, a history buff or super shopper. So, slip on those shades and enjoy amazing St Albans.
We may not be travelling abroad as planned, but don’t let that stop you getting dressed up and getting in the holiday mood! With so many wonderful places to enjoy, let’s make every day a special one and feel good by wearing things that make us happy (and that supports our incredible high street along the way).
Karen’s top picks
To inspire your summer wardrobe, we teamed up with the fabulous Karen from @StylingOut50.
Read on for Karen’s top picks for all the family this summer.
Over to you, Karen!
Here my top pics:
⭐️ Stunning Kaftan dress with a tied waste and lovely tassel detail. Perfect for lunch with the girls, a garden party or evening drinks. £55
⭐️ Gorgeous Ochre coloured floral playsuit. Fabulous with your trainers for now & I can see it with a long cardigan & little boots for Autumn. Flattering tie wait, off the shoulder & most importantly not too short & relaxed in the leg. I love it £110
⭐️ Elegant Electric Blue MIDI Dress. Simply stunning! Such an easy colour to wear – whether you’ve got a tan or not! I can see this with simple flats or a wedge for a date night or with the girls in our City. £45
⭐️ Dahlias in a Dress! I do have a Dahlia obsession so this dress is definitely a must have! MIDI if your tall but for me more ankle length. Stunning warm tones, midi sleeve & tie waist. A real nod to the 70s. This dress could paint the town red & stop traffic! £110
⭐️ The last dress speaks for itself! Not for the shy & retiring this one but if you’ve got it flaunt it! Deep v front, very flattering soft shorter sleeve & above the knee. I’d definitely rock this with trainers in the city or a slider ..but in warmer weather, I’d get those wedges on & I’d be taking it for a cocktail £110
