Overview

Visit this stunning Jacobean house within an extensive park and see the surviving wing of the Royal Palace of Hatfield, where Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood. The house is steeped in Elizabethan and Victorian political history and has a fine collection of pictures, tapestries, furnishings and historic armour. There are delightful formal gardens, woodland trails, picnic areas and a children’s play park.
