Things To Do
Redbourn Village Museum
The Silk Mill House contains this Village Museum. The three galleries consider the history, industry and community of Redbourn through permanent displays and changing exhibitions.
Redbourn Village Museum launched an exciting project in 2011, with the aim of spending the next nine years exploring and celebrating in turn each of the nine centuries since the foundation of St Mary’s Church. Every year they intend to mount a display about the century in question, invite an expert to deliver a lecture, and organise an outing to a relevant place of interest. The museum will invite the younger members of Redbourn’s community to get involved in various ways, and there will be a themed event in the village where everyone can join in the fun. This project is called “Redbourn through the Centuries”.
Open February to November on Saturday and Sunday 14:00-17:00
Note: Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time, at the discretion of the voluntary admissions staff.
