Spotlight on Terzetto Stone & Porcelain Tiles

Tell us a bit about you…

Terzetto Stone was founded in 2004 by Tim, whose love for tiles began from the age of 12, working in his dad’s tiling business in Oxford. Tim’s passion for, and knowledge of, natural stone & porcelain is still the foundation of Terzetto and Tim is still actively involved in the everyday running of the business.

Since our first showroom opened in Yorkshire, our unrivalled collections of tiles has grown considerably over the years, and the expansion of Terzetto has been huge, with five showrooms now located across the UK.

What services do you offer?

We are leading specialists in Stone & Porcelain tiles for every area of your home and garden. We offer an extensive range of only the best natural limestones, marbles, porcelain, and decorative floor and wall tiles for all budgets.  We also supply bespoke staircases, swimming pool surrounds, fireplaces and much more.

We specialise in large format tiles, with matching exterior anti-slip tiles so you can extend the living space to the outdoors.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the business, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide in depth technical advice to ensure that the tiles you choose are right for your project as well as helping you to design a stunning finish for your home.

What attracted you to open in St Albans?

St Albans is a vibrant and busy town and we thought it was perfect for our newest showroom. There are also great transport links so our customers can travel easily to visit us.

What did you do before?

Tim worked with his dad in his business from a young age and started his own business as a tiler from the age of 18. He had a stint as a college lecturer but missed his passion for tiles and home renovations so went on to open Terzetto.

Who is your typical customer?

A self-builder or someone extending/renovating their house, looking for in-trend, stylish, and top quality floor and wall tiles.

Trades people (tilers, architects, interior designers, builders, developers, landscapers) who we can establish long and successful relationships with. We work with the trade to support and supply quality products, including all necessary fixing materials, as well as any installation advice they may require.

What is the best bit about your job?

We love being a part of our customer’s building or renovation journey. Through providing our expert knowledge and displaying our beautiful ranges of tiles, we love helping our customers make the all-important decisions to complete their dream project.

What plans do you have for the next 12 months?

We are always striving to be the best we can be and to deliver the best service and new innovative tile solutions. So we will continue this journey sourcing new and exciting products and bringing them to our customers.
